Production Supervisor



Provides support to the production department by assisting the Production Manager with production operations and relieving him at night or other odd hours.


  • Maintains safety and efficiency in production plant.
  • Coaches and motivates the crew in order to meet production deadlines and goals. 
  • Trains new personnel, when necessary.
  • Reports mechanical breakdowns immediately to the maintenance crew.
  • Assists Production Manager in making crew schedules and keeping track of attendance.
  • Communicates frequently with the dock and sorting crews in order to keep track of incoming fish.
  • Supports all department Supervisors and Leads by providing solutions to problems, filling in for breaks, counseling, and communicating lot changes.


  • Ability to work long and odd hours 16 hours a day up to 7 days a week, depending on production needs, for duration of salmon season.
  • Excellent communication skills. Proficient in English.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Email.
  • Two years Supervisor Experience in seafood processing plants or equivalent food processing.
  • Must be familiar with salmon sorting by species.
  • Must be proficient with common salmon processing equipment. 
  • Roe and shipping experience is a plus.
