  • Overview

    The Inventory/PM Administrator position fulfills the dual responsibilities of Inventory/PM Administrator. The incumbent is responsible for tracking inventory throughout the facility, administrating the PM program, local expediting and other various duties.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Plant Organization & Inventory
    • Designate and manage controlled stock areas
    • Assist plant departments with inventory/stores staging and flow
    • Responsible for general plant organization and cleanliness
    • Coordinate with plant departments on required stock items and levels
    • Communicate any receiving/shipping issues with Purchasing department

     

    • Execute Local Purchases
      • Responsible for expediting and purchasing from local vendors

     

    • Fishermen Services
      • Assist with pricing and tracking of work completed/parts usage for the fleet
      • Assist with expediting local purchases for the fleet

     

    • PM Administrator
      • Maintain procedural oversight of PM program

                            * Generate PM work orders for assignation by Chief Engineer

                            * Close work orders after complete

                            * Write and maintain PM schedules, coordinating with Chief Engineer

                            * Maintain integrity of eMaint database regarding PM's

     

    • Project/Budget Assisting
      • Assist the Chief Engineer with projects, planning, obtaining quotes and scheduling as needed.

     

    Qualifications

    The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:

    • Knowledge of inventory control and supply chain management
    • Ability to communicate clearly and maintain professional vendor relationships
    • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information

    Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

     

    The Inventory/PM Administrator will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain. The incumbent will also be expected to complete warehousing duties. The inventory/PM Administrator will be expected to lift boxes uo to 50 lbs. as well as have the capacity to operate or learn to operate a forklift.

     

    The incumbent is located in a busy, open office. He/She is faced with constant interruptions and must meet with different kinds of people on a regular basis.
